Join us for a fun weekend in the Poconos with your friends in 9th-12th grade!
We will meet at ECOB on Friday, Nov 14 @ 4pm and return on Sunday, Nov 16 by 12pm.
Our theme is "U-Turn" and we’ll be taking a deep dive into the Old Testament Book of Judges, where God specifically uses individual people (often not the people you’d expect!) to bring about redemption for God’s people. We will explore the powerful, messy, and redemptive stories in the Book of Judges, showing how God's grace breaks through cycles of sin, doubt, and failure. From Othniel to Samson, each week highlights a different judge. We will look at the stories of Othniel, Ehud & Deborah, Gideon, and Samson. These stories will show us how God is contantly fighting to bring us back to Him, how God uses unexpected people in unexpected ways, that your doubts don't disqualify you from God's calling, and it's never too late to turn back to God.
On Saturday, we will be heading over to Camelback for an evening at their indoor water park!
Sleeping arrangements are the same as last year. The girls will sleep at the Wilson's House (49 Tobyhanna Road, Lake Harmony, PA 18624), where we have all of our activities, meals, lessons, and hangout time. The boys will be sleeping two houses down at 19 Tobyhanna Road, Lake Harmony, PA 18624.
The cost for this retreat is $80, and space is limited so sign up quickly with your friends!
There will be a food sign up genius sent out two weeks before the retreat to those who will be attending!
All attending teens need to have a completed 2025-2026 Universal Waiver.
Also, following our Overnight Policy, anyone who is BRAND NEW to ECOBYOUTH events, needs to have attended 2 Sunday Night Youth Groups previously.
